2023 Color Trends

March 17, 2023

Behind the Scenes

We’re a few months in to 2023, and it’s becoming clear what color trends will dominate home interiors in the coming years. The inspiration for these colors comes from a variety of sources: nature, technology and even social media but they do have a few things in common – they are earthier than past versions and they play well with others.

Trending Colors

  • Mustard Yellow
  • Sage Green
  • Dusty Rose
  • Indigo Blue

Mustard Yellow

Mustard yellow is a bold, vibrant color that can be used to add some energy and excitement to your home or to ground brighter colors and add earthiness to a space. It’s a great choice for those who want to inject some life into their interiors but don’t want to go full-on bold with red or orange. Mustard yellow has come in and out of fashion for decades but has recently become popular again as people lean into earth tones and warmer neutrals.

Sage Green

Sage green is a beautiful and soothing color that can be used in any room of your home. It’s a great choice for bedrooms, bathrooms or even kitchens. Because it’s a more muted shade of green it can almost be used as a neutral and works particularly well with shades of pink. Which brings us to…

Dusty Rose

Dusty rose is a cool-toned shade that combines pink and mauve. It’s one of the most popular colors for home interiors, thanks to its versatility and ability to complement both warm and cool tones.

Dusty rose can be used as an accent color in rooms with neutral or earthy colors, or it can be used as an accent for rooms with bolder hues like black or red.

Dusty rose has many benefits: it’s calming, flattering on everyone (not just women), easy on the eyes and doesn’t require much maintenance because it doesn’t show dirt easily!

Indigo Blue

Indigo blue is a deep shade of blue that’s often associated with royalty. It’s a color that can be used in your home interiors to give an elegant, sophisticated look.

Indigo blue is also known for its calming properties, which makes it ideal for bedrooms or other rooms where you want to relax and unwind after a long day.
